Transparent & Fair

Insurance, Billing & FAQs

Eura works hard to make care financially accessible. Most major insurances accepted — and Eura helps you navigate it.

How It Works

Built to Be Insurance-Friendly

At EURA, cost should never be a barrier to affirming care. Eura is currently in the process of credentialing with most major commercial insurance providers — and is designed from the ground up to bill insurance directly once credentialing is complete.

Now opening in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Colorado. Credentialing with major commercial insurers is actively underway in all four states.

In the meantime, Eura is transparent about what care costs and works with every patient to make things as affordable as possible. Self-pay rates are straightforward, and superbills are available for patients who want to seek reimbursement from their insurer. Call or contact us to find out if your insurance is currently accepted.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Which states does EURA currently see patients in? +

EURA is currently licensed to see patients in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Colorado. If you are located in one of these states, you are eligible to be seen via telemedicine.

Does my insurance cover gender-affirming hormone therapy? +

Most major commercial insurance plans do cover gender-affirming hormone therapy, including labs and follow-up visits. EURA is currently in the credentialing process with major insurers. Please call us to find out if your specific plan is currently accepted — Eura will always be upfront before your appointment.

Do I need a referral to be seen at EURA? +

In most cases, no. EURA accepts direct-access appointments for most services. Some insurance plans may require a referral — Eura will let you know when you contact us to book.

Is PrEP really free with insurance? +

Under the ACA, most insurance plans are required to cover PrEP (medication + labs + follow-up visits) at no cost to you. Eura assists with any prior authorization or patient assistance program paperwork.

Can I get a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement? +

Yes. If EURA is out-of-network with your plan, Eura can provide a detailed superbill that you can submit to your insurer for partial reimbursement. Many patients recoup a significant portion of costs this way.

Where do I get my labs done? +

Lab orders are sent electronically to the lab of your choice. Most patients use Quest Diagnostics or LabCorp, which have convenient locations throughout New York — but any major commercial lab is accepted. Walk-in with your order, no appointment needed at most locations.

Is EURA a primary care practice? +

No. EURA's services are focused on specific areas of care — gender-affirming hormone therapy, sexual health, mental health support, and related conditions. These services are not a substitute for comprehensive primary care. Patients are encouraged to maintain a relationship with a primary care provider for general health needs.
